PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE / PATTERN DESIGn
This is a full-time, dynamic and high-touch role that bridges client experience and passion for product/design/making.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE / PATTERN DESIGN
Production orders - prep 2D/3D files for cnc/printed parts
Shop drawings, revise 3D models, produce models from maquettes
Purchase parts/materials: lighting/hardware/outsourced moulds
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing and RDDs
Ability to interface with clients as needed
Willingness to engage in some hands-on work and facilitation in the workshop
Manage 3D printers
Manage plotter, make 2D templates
Manage out-sourced waterjet for welding templates, registers, parts
Interest in learning Fine Art and Design Production with specialization in Bronze, Cast Glass, Sculpture and Lighting at highest levels of craftsmanship.
Ability to work confidently and efficiently with crew members at all levels with positive, energetic, humble attitude, relationship building
Organization: Detail-oriented, versatile and self-driven with the ability to multi-task and take ownership of projects
Creative problem solver: Instincts to identify production challenges and respect that all aspects of casting (and therefore quality and cost) are driven by the files made in this role
