West Supply wears its heritage on its sleeve.

From its namesake's humble beginnings as a 1940s army surplus store in a rural West Texas town to a fine artisan production business in Chicago today, West Supply has earned its established reputation.

We delight in collaborations with those who challenge us and inspire excellence. We know our works will travel through the homes and hands of many generations.

Angie West graduated from Vanderbilt University with majors in Human and Organization Development and Fine Arts with a minor in Studio Art.  

From 1999–2002 she worked for Holly Hunt in Chicago as an executive assistant coordinating visual and branding matters for the showroom and in-house collections. In 2002, Angie moved to NYC for photographic pursuits (primarily reportage), and in 2004 she moved her photography home base to Texas. From there she traveled on location to India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mexico, and extensively through the rural US. During this time she continued to provide commercial product photography to design industry clientele. 

During a 2007 photoshoot, Angie was invited to return to Chicago and rejoin Holly Hunt as the Marketing Director, eventually moving on to become Design Studio Director. In 2009, her father transferred ownership of the business name of West Supply, a 70 year old Texas-based family company, and one year later, she purchased a small foundry in Chicago with a vision to reinvent the business.

Culture is paramount at West Supply. 

We are a collective of artisans and facilitators who share lives in a very special trade. As individuals we stand for those principles and practices critical to our personal narrative and continual development.

Our WS maker's mark is stamped on pieces we produce. As a representation of each of us, this mark is both a personal and collective statement of quality and unyielding integrity.
